be a citizen scientist – The Big Sleep Survey
National Science Week (14 – 22 August) is nearly here. One of the opportunities available for National Science Week this year is the chance to be a citizen scientist and help researchers gather important data on our sleeping habits by participating in the Big Sleep Survey.
You can find out more about why the research is important, what scientists want to know and how you can join in at the National Science Week website. And there is a chance to win great prizes by participating. Participating in a citizen science project is a perfect way to open up a discussion with older children about what scientists do.
There are also many other science events happening around the country and more information about your area can be found at the Science Week website.
