top 10 nature sights I want to see

I saw this at WildChild and thought it would be fun to join in.  These are the top ten nature sights I want to see (you can tell from this list that I am a geo-nerd): 

1. the Northern or Southern lights
2. the geothermal areas of Rotorua and Taupo in NZ
3. the Bungle Bungles in Purnululu National Park in Western Australia
4. the Canadian Rockies
5. Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
6. the la Brea tar pits in California, USA
7. the New Caledonia Barrier Reef
8. Riversleigh fossil site in Queensland, Australia
9. the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland
10. swim with the whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia

Making the list made me think of all the really wonderful experiences I’ve already had and all the places I’d love to visit again.  I have stuck to places I’ve never been for this list, but I think I will post a list of the top ten nature experiences I’ve already had.
