top 10 nature sights I want to see

I saw this at WildChild and thought it would be fun to join in.  These are the top ten nature sights I want to see (you can tell from this list that I am a geo-nerd):  800px-Polarlicht_2
  1. the Northern or Southern lights
  2. the geothermal areas of Rotorua and Taupo in NZ 800px-Purnululu2
  3. the Bungle Bungles in Purnululu National Park in Western Australia
  4. the Canadian Rockies
  5. Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
  6. the la Brea tar pits in California, USA
  7. the New Caledonia Barrier Reef
  8. Riversleigh fossil site in Queensland, Australia 800px-Causeway-code_poet-4
  9. the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland
  10. swim with the whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia
Making the list made me think of all the really wonderful experiences I’ve already had and all the places I’d love to visit again.  I have stuck to places I’ve never been for this list, but I think I will post a list of the top ten nature experiences I’ve already had.

I Love the geothermal areas of Rotorua although they are very smelly!

I love seeing all these lists! There are so many wonderful places out there and now I have several more to add to my list.

I might have to copy your idea of making a list of places we've already been, too.
