Collaborative Journalling with Kids: Whose Eyes? and Mandalas
We have been adding projects to our collaborative journal. Sometimes, someone just chooses to make some art on one of the pages and we slowly build up pages. We have also done some projects together.
I added eyes to one of the pages as a prompt for my sons to draw some faces. My eldest son took up the challenge and drew these aliens. You could also add eyes cropped from magazine pages for a similar drawing challenge.
When my youngest son wanted to do drawing, this collaborative mandala (from The Artful Parent) project pinned to my Art for Kids Pinterest board came to mind.
